Seriously, if it is I suppose I should put it back where I found it (in SE Alaska). [Linked Image]

It is cool looking. I don't know what it is, but I would of picked it up too.

How much does it weigh?

Is it basalt?

Keith

It looks like some sort of metamorphic rock, it's too coarse of grained to be basalt, however it is mostly dark minerals. Sort of a looks like fine grained gneiss with a great proportion of dark minerala than light.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Looks like a huge tooth...

Keep your boots dry and your powder too.

I remember when a fur check was reality.....now I'm just trapping for the love of it.

Best Regards,

JT

If you found that on public ground you have stolen an artifact and may have committed a felony. If on private ground.....it’s a rock. Feel free to keep it!
