It is cool looking. I don't know what it is, but I would of picked it up too.
How much does it weigh?
Is it basalt?
Keith It looks like some sort of metamorphic rock, it's too coarse of grained to be basalt, however it is mostly dark minerals. Sort of a looks like fine grained gneiss with a great proportion of dark minerala than light.
