New record lake trout for all of New England was caught in Northern NH.....over 40 inches ..and 37.65 pounds....through the ice. It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.

Some might be surprised,but there are some very small lakes here that hold very large pike.They dont take long to get fished out when too many people learn about them. Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Not surprised at all, its very easy to have a lake over fished. The smaller the quicker. I have seen many very small lakes that were great fishing fished out in a couple of months. One in a day. Large fish in a small lake is not unusual, its is when its open to public fishing unless its catch and release.
