Wish I could take this. I take Warfarin for AFIB. My cardiologist says I should avoid anything with turmeric in it. My wife however, swears by the turmeric she takes every day for her achy joints.
I don't watch football, so I don't know who Taylor Swift is, but he sounds fast.

Do you eat it like medicine? Or food as a garnish? Dave, you can do both. Often folks keep the herbs after straining them out of the liquid , saving them for spices in meats, salad dressing mix, etc. A little goes a long way , though, they are spicy. They can be frozen in baggies for gradual use. The tincture is what is taken to build healthy immune systems, blood cleanser , improved circulation, and killing pathogens . Myself and many others have been doing this for decades. I am rarely sick. PF, good point. Honey is amazing medicine too. Dakota, good for you ! Looks like a great batch you made. Ok Run, up to date now

My old drunk uncle used to mix up something like that except he didn't pour off any liquids and called it hot chow-chow. Put it on red beans and all of his meat. I swear you just had to pass a spoonful of it over the food to be hot. He probably used more hot peppers than you with lots of chile petins.
Sit on your horse on top of a ridge, look out across the country and tell me there is no God.

Yote, it really can be done both ways, chopping up in small chunks or blending. Yes I always chop up the hard textured ones first , even if I do blend. Care needs taken in fine chopping horseradish root. It is so dense it can tax greatly a blender. Everything else blends fine. Or just chop the horseradish in small chunks, and blend the rest if desired.
On this batch I did not use my blender, you are correct and observant ! I had the blender shown as an optional tool to use.
If the herbs are wanted as seasonings for salad dressing, casserole or meat dishes, then not using a blender is the way to go.
School season, winter, all good for having some at hand.
