The location is about a 1/2 mile hike in so I went in light, snares, wire and a machete. On my way out I came across this nice location. I sure could use a foothold and a drowner rig but I don’t so..... I took a snare (noted in red) and laid it across the crawl out, ran it over a small stick, down in the water and made a small loop where I would place a foot hold. Covered the wire crossing the crawl out with some loose dirt. The thought, the beaver reaches the crawl out, plants it’s back foot in the snare, reaches up to crawl out, the loose dirt gives way causing it to pull the cable closed on the back foot. I’m actually laughing myself but I may not be in the morning. lol -Goofy-
