A guy give this trap to be doesn't have a trigger on it i need one and a pan on the pan it says model 55 eliminator

Helfrich 550 Eliminator. Also came in 450 and 750 sizes.

I sure don't. Those traps haven't been in production for many years.

The trap in the picture appears to be complete, in my opinion. Already has a pan and trigger/dog. Can’t think of why you would need to add anything to it, it is already functional.

Helfrich traps had a unique trigger system. A bit unconventional.

Can’t help you with finding a part. Maybe you can find another incomplete trap and put the 2 together. You might check with Keith Winkler ar
Sterling Furs. He some times has misc parts for older traps.

You are going to have to scour trapping conventions for any Helfrich parts unless any guys/gals on here have one to cannibalize..

That model, the 550 cast jaw, had a tendency to pop jaw lugs, so maybe you can put the word out and find a broken one. Sterling would be a good place to check, like Wissmiss said, I know he bought a bunch of them at the Ohio convention a few years ago.
