They throw fuel on it every chance they get, it makes them Bloomberg commercials not seem so as bad as they were. The weather report is a pleasant break from the virus now.
They keep going back to the Spanish flu when they run out of junk to make up to build up the hype it sickening no where near that level yet.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

The liberal cable news channels keep blaming Trump (what else is new) and calling him a racist for calling it the Chinese virus. Originally, it was referred to as the Wuhan flu until the main stream idiots said that was racist and renamed it. NY Times once referred to it as the Trump Virus.
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

I think the American public gives the news media about 500% too much credit. I'm like some of the others on here, I don't watch the news. Don't have to. It finds me. Everywhere.
But the media is consistently and historically inaccurate in nearly every respect, and yet the American public treats them like they are divine.
Here's the test of the news media: Have you ever been personally, intimately familiar with an event --real first hand knowledge about it -- and then watched the news media coverage of the same event? Have you noticed that what you ABSOLUTELY KNEW to be true was NOT what the news reported? I learned this lesson as a kid. There was a tragedy in my little home town, a guy running a D-9 cat on a steep hillside rolled it and was crushed by the machine. He died instantly. I was there. I saw them pack the body off the mountain. The next day (this was long before instant news coverage), the news people swarmed the little town and talked to everyone about the incident. They talked to people who were not there, knew nothing about the incident, and didn't have any more information than the man in the moon. And yet the news gave them as much attention as the people who really knew what was going on. That night on the news I saw the report of the incident on all three channels (we only had three at the time). I was amazed that (1) all three stories told by all three stations were DIFFERENT from one another, and (2) they were EACH wildly different than what I knew to be the facts of this tragedy. They had incorrect names, incorrect events, and didn't even have the right name of the equipment he was using. If I hadn't known what I knew about the accident, I wouldn't have recognized it as the same story. About the only thing they had right was the name of the town and the name of the victim. Other than that, it was all wrong.
Since then, I've consistently noticed the news is soooooo inaccurate that it can't be trusted. And when you add in the political motivations of the media members themselves, the "News" isn't really news at all. There is no credibility, no objectivity, and no impartiality. Its just an hour of junk they have to fill up every night, whether its trash or something useful, and we all know that trash is so much easier to find.

I think its better to be safe than sorry. We don't know what it will do in the long run. Yes we all will suffer from the affects, but its worth the long term survival of the country.
If traps work like the Antis say......I would have no fingers.

and yet the American public treats them like they are divine. The media treats themselves that way. They trash every institution in the country and think they're the only people above reproach. They are the biggest threat we face.

The media is, and always has been, public enemy number one. Yet MOST folks will believe a very high percentage of what they see, or hear, on the news!!! I'd be very surprised to find more than 2 or 3 of the folks following this thread who could tell you more than a couple of things, they saw or heard on the news, that they DON'T believe. SHEOPLE! smh

Pretty broad base here on T-Man. Does anyone know someone who actually has this flu stuff? Wish I knew what the facts are. Here in my little word "news" was a case in my county. Today, nope incorrect. I plan to keep living my life, be careful as I can and figured to die some day anyhow.
Zim Right now only about 1 in 36,000 people know they are infected. I don't know 36,000 people.
