Muslim governor just shut all non-essential businesses down by 8pm. Enforcement starts Sat.!!! Congrats! Sounds like you have a good governor.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

I cant help but wonder what the charge will be if the order is ignored. I have not read anything in the KS constitution that gives the governor or anyone else authority to issue royal decrees. Not in the federal constitution either. I thought our ancestors fought a war to stop royal decrees and put the authority of law into the hands of the governed. Is the governor going to pay peoples bills?
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Zim Evidently the PA Governor alone.

Residential construction may no longer continue operations. I wonder how much the fine is...? Rumor is the PA National Guard will be deployed to enforce the action next week. Not sure I believe that but it came from a credible source.

Everyone in this country is going to be affected by this. You don't instantly cut off millions of jobs and not affect every facet of the economy. And it won't be definitely over in April. A Virus doesn't follow orders or live on a time clock. This is a novel virus and it can mutate again quickly and at any time.
How many dollars are lost to the economy for each day that several millions of people don't work? Take that many more $billion out of the Treasury to pick up the welfare and unemployment compensation? Just in school closings alone, maybe 50 million kids, say 15 million working parents that will have to stay away from work to tend those kids. Lost income that adds up over time.
Everyone needs to go off somewhere and spend an hour or two studying the Spanish flu. 24 months, killed as many as 6% of the world's population, more dead than all of W.W. 1. About one out of three people infected worldwide. This has the possibility of getting to that level, but probably maybe might not, we can hope. So far the USA doesn't even have a test kit for it and we left the airports open so long that it has been brought into every section of the country.
I'm not intending to be a downer to y'all, but, maybe it's time to get over the ostrich head syndrome, we can hide here til we run out of essential medicines or food but when we do need those, will there be any out there? And if there are how will we know it's clean? what do we know about the supply line going forward?
When you have time to study what this is said to be and the time lines of it all up to now and throw in that we are real close to being eligible for martial law or foreign takeover, there just might be the makings of two or three good conspiracies here.

Glad we have a lot of herbal medicines here that are antivirals.A good one that is common and high in vit.c is cedar(thula occidentalis) tea decoction.A cup a day.No more. You wont get scurfy either if you are on a winter meat diet.It tastes good either with a spoon of honey or maple syrup.

Residential construction may no longer continue operations. I wonder how much the fine is...? Just tell em you're the homeowner lugnut Ha, I like that idea. The problem is that all the building supply companies have been ordered closed as well. Also, I'm currently waiting for tradesmen to finish their electrical, mechanical and plumbing rough-ins so I can get a framing inspection. The inspection outfit does all the rough-in inspections during the framing inspection. All those trades have been ordered shut down as well, inspections too. You got me Governor Arsehole...you got me. I guess I can't file suit for unnecessary loss of revenue can I? There's probably something in the State Emergency Act that prevents that.
Eh...wot?

Residential construction may no longer continue operations. I wonder how much the fine is...? Rumor is the PA National Guard will be deployed to enforce the action next week. Not sure I believe that but it came from a credible source. The idiot Governor listed groups that would be doing enforcement. The list included PA State Police but did not include the National Guard.
