haven’t made it to a gun store lately but yesterday in a Wally World there seemed to be plenty of ammo on the shelves (though not a very big selection) . I see on tv how guns and ammo are flying off the shelves. So now the TP is all gone now guns and ammo, trying to figure what people will go after next? Any ideas?

Don't know what's next, but I do think more guns in the hands of citizens is a good thing.

Hand sanitizer is non-existent even in the high end health food stores. I checked in person. They said normally they sell hand sanitizer but they don't have any to sell.

Everclear works for a sanitizer and has other uses too!

I have nothing clever to put here.

MJy wife was at our local Wally World yesterday and said the same, plenty of supplies. She walked buy a big pack of our brand of TP and didn't buy it, said we still have some. It's become a running joke at her expense.

I told her they probably just restocked five minutes prior and that was the last one left.

She says she thinks the panic-buying has pretty much run it's course. I mean, how much TP can you possibly stockpile?

Eh...wot?

Got a couple local brew houses here now making hand sanitize..Not sure??? Think you have to go there do their paid for sample tour. Practicing of course proper social distancing. And then you can get free bottle hand sanitizer they are making..

I put some clorox and water in a plastic bowl yesterday then added a wash cloth to use as sanitizer when i went to town for a few grocery 's. ethanol is expensive. thinking isopropyl alcohol would work very well though.

Isopropyl alcohol makes a great disinfectant and doubles as a glass/lens cleaner.

Went grocery shopping this morning. Toilet paper was on sale! They raised the price on eggs. Went from $1.29 to $ 2.99/doz. in a week. No sanitizer of course. Meat was being restocked.

Bingo. I bought some Thursday. Castor tincture, sanitizer, and maybe a little swig or two down the road.

ALDI had hand sanitizer yesterday. Isopropyl over 60% will do the trick. I wouldn't use a very strong bleach solution on your hands without a good, thorough rinse after.
