Well we occasionally have some smug, champagne socialist Canadians who crap all over the US of A. My response is Americans are not perfect but then so we are not either. And then who would u rather have for a super power neighbour: China, Russia or the US of A? Kind of shuts them down. I for one am glad the US bought Alaska some 150 years ago as a buffer against the Russians and the Russians regret selling that piece of, albeit appropriated from the original people, piece of North America.
Have a pocket copy of the American constitution - what a human decency advaning document. Perhaps the greatest words ever put to paper.
Now here is where I am going to lose some of u good old boys - can't handle ur President but understand why a lot of u voted for him as sick and tired of left wing socialist boloney. Where is the common sense middle ground in ur country - and ours too?
And God bless America the greatest single bastion of hope, freedom and liberty the planet earth has ever seen.

Quebecers, by which I take it people mean French speaking Quebecers, I dealt with plenty of them over a lot of years. Found the good, the bad and the ugly like every other type of people on earth but the girls the best!!. Go figure.
Their biggest problem is they feel, and not without justification IMO, like a threatened species. But they have made enough fuss, and resultant progress, about that now in the last 50+ years to tone it back a bit.
Hint: Like everywhere else on the planet learning to speak, as best u can, unaccented their language back to them goes a long ways.
And yes there are A holes everywhere you go regardless. And for all of us: attitude determines altitude.

Hey self quarantine means no going on Tman for two months at least that's Jurassic rules he was imposing.
Ya, but JP has always been a bit funny. No offence of course, JP. Bahahahaha No Northof50, that’s not what I said. You probably have a map on your wall with pins all over it with all our names and a biography of us all. Acting like a crime scene investigator, just sitting there staring at it waiting to add some more info on everyone’s tack!
Cold as ice!

Went to Halifax, Nova Scotia once. People were real nice to us during our stay. Yes, the friendliest Canadians are in New Brunswick , Nova Scotia and NFLD.

I've always seen a sprinkling of wheat harvesters coming down from Canada, start cutting wheat in Texas in May and work their way north as far as Flin Flon as it ripens. Saskatchewan for sure but others as well.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Was only in Ontario and North of WaWa, they were rude little buggers. South of WaWa and you couldn't find better people. Seriously, every person I ran in to was as nice as could be and I really enjoyed talking with them. Hung out with a couple guys from there and they were a blast. They said we were lucky in the States because we had Johnny Cash and Bob Hope, they said up there they had no cash or hope lol.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Stereotypes are easily broken down by anecdotal experience. That’s their point lol they’re supposed to be summaries and averages not absolute.
Encountering anecdotal evidence to the contrary of a stereotype does nothing to take away from its truth necessarily.
Everyone talks a lot of trash about all countries.
Like Americans never joke about their “state” to the north and how we wouldn’t make it without them and so forth.
At least with Americans Canadians aren’t punching down like they are!! (See how this works as a joke, because it mocks Americans for punching down while simultaneously suggesting that Americans are better than we are, or it wouldn’t be punching down, now would it)
Let the stereotypes live. They’re fun. I’m a Canadian that traps fur. That already nails a lot of stereotypes when I travel.
Americans tend to be more brash culturally than Canadians, and we’ve slowly morphed that into them being rude, loud and so forth. Example. your buddy is usually a shredded 175lbs but gets to 181lbs and you start calling him a fatas$. Lol. He’s not actually fat. It’s all relative. Americans may be 181lbs of brash to our 171lbs so we call them fat.
