Everyone said they will never take my guns but they seem quick to comply with the shelter in place order that's being imposed in some states. My work is dreamed non essential, however it is too me, I let all my guys go as required however come Monday morning I will be headed to work as usual . My job intends to pay me not to work but i don't do handouts, i definitely won't go on unemployment, so off to work I go. I see most as sheep headed to slaughter.

If I don't work, I don't eat so my job is essential .... However I should be able to get my work done today and then drive back home to TN this evening
Let's go Brandon
"Shall not comply" with morons who don't understand "shall not infringe."

If you want to be irresponsible and contribute to the spread of this disease you should carry a signed paper saying you will not resucitate/accept ventilation so another more responsible person that catches the disease will live and you will not be using up vital resources.

When your in the neighborhood of a sibling or a buddy and you call them and say, we're gonna be close, thought we'd stop by. They say we have the flu bug here, so ya better not come by. You ask if they need anything, and that's that. You don't visit. We're being told that on a huge scale, and it's tanking the economy that was humming pretty good. It's a horrible situation and I don't quite know what to think about it. Half of me is calling BS, the other is saying we have never been in this boat before. I can't help but to think of my Grandparents and how they survived the depression and Gpa, WW11 and the sacrifices they made for our Country. IDK, maybe we should suck it up for now and see what happens in a bit. This really sucks, but I feel blessed.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Remember, if you follow the isolation and social distances recommendations and nothing happens and your community is unaffected, then it works.
Question: if you had a highly contagious disease, would you go about your normal daily life knowing you could spread it to others just by breathing on or touching a door knob?
Is it really that difficult to take a few weeks to simply pray at home rather than getting a large group together and potentially spreading this thing? That's what my family is doing. Will you be breaking the 10 person rule to attend the funerals of your older parishioners in a couple weeks if they pass due to carelessly spreading. If I knew I had it, I would stay home. A few weeks at home is going to financially ruin some people.

If we had it or even suspected that we'd been around people that had it, we'd cancel. But as it stands we'll continue to hold church at our house. We're all young and healthy here, no old or immunocompromised folks, they're staying home and that's their choice and that's fine. But when government tells me we can't hold a church service, we'll disobey without a second thought. Daniel's government told him not to pray,so he went out on his front porch and prayed, knowing they'd feed him to lions. Meshack Shadrach and Abednego were told to worship a golden statue, they refused and were thrown into a furnace. In the same sense, I believe that my religion tells me to gather will the other like minded believers for corporate worship and teaching, and if the government tells me I can't do that (as in New York, Illinois, and California), I'll do it out in the open consequences be darned.

Goose, that's your choice, all on you. I get it but you are greatly upping the chances of bringing a health risk to your family. Maybe another way to look at it is no one is telling you you can't worship like Daniel, they're saying don't do it with a bunch of fellow worshipers. Where two or more gather.....

goose ,there not telling you not to worship just alittle common sense in doing so.....a lot of community churches are worshipping at home without being told they have to, until this all blows over and things get back to normal.
