Managed to squeeze 5 days or work into 3 long ones and drove home today away from the madness. I did bring a little homework with me though. Rather work at home than out there in the world at the moment. Have to make one sail cover out of dark blue Sunbrella fabric and design and fabricate a controller unit for 2 Hydraulic sail winches and a hydraulic main sail furler. Don't have to go back to work till the end of next month though. Maybe things will have settled down a little by then.

Glad to hear you made it home safely. Hard to be away when there is a bit of a crisis going on.

Glad you made it back, do you have some kind of plan in place for the maintenance you do if you cant get back out there? Well a couple of boats are not going to move till I get back there. One does not have an injector pump on one engine as I took it off and the other has a disabled hydraulic system that I am making new parts for. A few of my clients are now coming back early from their trips south as the Bahamas are essentially closed and so are a bunch of marinas in FL and all the bars are shut. So there will be more work waiting for me than usual when I get back down there. The better half was worried that I would not make it back before the shut things down in this part of the woods and today is her birthday to top everything off. Finster tell the media to Foxtrot Oscar.

For me the cure is to play on my little hill for a month .... then see what the world looks like when I venture back out again.
