Used to catch them in live traps on just about any bait that was there for raccoon. I know folks who say salt soaked rags, etc...

We exclude them now all the time. Sheet metal on tree bases can be painted to look nice and does the job where they are hitting trees of most species.

If it's a dog quill deal I like hot wire where the yard works for it.

Can trap and remove of course but I food habitat they will be back...

I think they'll eat pretty much anything. They even eat hydraulic hoses.
