That's my personal build I think of want if I were to pull the trigger. Everything from winch to in cab gun mounts!

Anyone have any experience with them?

How big of engine?
What kinda terrain will you be using it on?

The crew cab length makes for lots of bottoming out on ditches and rocks.

This is my ride now.

Started with 06 Yamaha rino 450 was a great ride for 10 years
Then 06 570 ranger crew new clutches and belts 2500 buck at 2300 miles sold it at 2 years to the date i bought it
Then this 2018 Yamaha viking and i love it

I have a 2014 ranger crew 900 bought it brand new.
We have rolled this thing and rode the crap put of it .
Only problems I've had is oem carrier bearing went out twice so I replaced
It with an aftermarket no problem since.except just blew another belt but that has to do with the way it's driven

I used to work on motorcycles and atvs. Polaris sell great, but I would never own one. They are junk. Buy Japanese.

Rabbit club to rabbit club and everything in-between. As far as terrain is concerned anyway. I'll drive it on the road as well.

Maybe even to church!?

I can believe that due to all the bells and whistles they have in comparison to other. Self leveling suspension on one! That will cost you in maintenance for sure!

Looks like Polaris has the smoothest more versatile product. But it also seems that all those options come with a price!?

I'd be happy with one that compare in seating compacity to the one I posted above

You guys must be buying different Polaris machines than me. Not side by sides, but my 500 and 570 are tough as nails. I think I replaced the fuel pump on the EFI aside from regular maintenance...

Around 5000 miles on each like the day they were made.

What maintenance issues have those who have owned them had with the Polaris side by sides?

Check out the viking 6 seater it will comfortably seat 6 guys with out crowding the rangers won't. It only has 700 cc engine and top speed is 50 but i think you'll be impressed. One issue with any of the side x sides is they make them to where you need special tools to do some of the work so you have to go to the dealer.

I my not get there first but i get there every time without fail. The hills in the back ground of that pic is where we play and trap. 2000 plus miles a year.

One more pic when i first got it before the cab
2 cow elk packs cooler and 3 hunters

Not a ton of experience with ATV's but a fair amount. After using several different brands for outfits I've worked for and with, I am comfortable saying that given a choice I would buy something other than Polaris for myself. They ride good, but seem to take more shop time and money than any of the others.

Parts are expensive with my family's Polaris ranger. Buy yourself some Snap-On tools to go with your Ranger. You'll thank me later.
