I have a 10/22 take down but can't make up my mind what glass to put on it ..... I would use it purely for small game hunting

This was my beaver shooter-model 96 in 22 mag-similar to the 10/22. It was beat up pretty bad from bouncing around on the beaver line for years-so I did a re-finish on it and retired it for the most part.

I would use it purely for small game hunting https://www.opticsplanet.com/vortex-crossfire-ii-2-7x32-rifle-scope.html - this is a terrific scope for the price. Better than many other brands at much higher costs. I personally don't care for the looks of the 10/22s that come out looking like an AR. but I like the thumbhole stocks and the carbon fiber barrels. I prefer they be ambidextrous though so my lefty shooting son can use them as well.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Some sweet rifles guys..wish I could post a pic. Mine is in stainless with a plastic pistol grip folding stock and open sights. Not at all a fan of the stock. While it is still tight at the pivot point, it provides no height for the cheek. A friend gave me a stock that at first glance looked like an original wood wound up being for a mini 14... I have grown fond of the magpul hunter I think it’s called. It has adjustable reach and comb but I would settle for wood. Adc I have been looking at vortex and I like what I see...you may have just sealed the deal for them. I also like the bull barrels, Anyone familiar with ER Shaw?

When things straighten out I am gonna get a take down 10-22 with a threaded barrel. I have a couple 22 pistols and a single shot winchester but i need to up my 22 game as the kids say. I think that is the only thing I wish i had once things werent available anymore. Still looking at a mossberg jm pro 930 or 940. I dont have a semi auto shotgun.

I have a 10/22 take down but can't make up my mind what glass to put on it ..... I would use it purely for small game hunting a small dot or something you can mount to the barrel. Ia few friends have/had the take downs , if you put a sling on it and shoot with a sling it pulls the barrel of target when the sling is under tension mounting to the barrel becomes the best option for accuracy
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

What did that barrel and trigger kit cost you goatman? Like the look of that. Pretty neat horn, the stock is not for me but it does have a certain appeal.
