Most of the beaver I am catching just don't give a dam.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

I got two beavers two weekends ago and one beaver three weekends ago. This is the last weekend coming up in Region 7 of NYS. I hope to get more.

Been going for 2 weeks and have 33 so far. My first year spring beaver trapping. River went up after a big rain so I pulled all but 3 traps that I have on a pond. Hope to reset on Friday

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

I am. Only thing open right now. Got until April 12th. What else can you do these days? Cut up a few tails to make a batch of tail oil. Never tried it before but I have way to much time on my hands. This will be the first year I have all traps dyed and waxed and bait made before October 14th and season opens October 15. Lol. Loving the spring beaver this year.

My Grandpa always told me, "You chase beaver in the fall, in the spring you let them come to you". I'm letting a few come to me.

Is that a standard 48x32 beaver board,Trapset? Nah, 32x40. Looks like you’ll be ready for them when/if it melts for ya Trapper Dahlgren, what kind of Setter is that peaking out of your basket? Looks familiar. lol
