Another thing. Just because you dont have service...the GPS still works and tracks the phone. I use an app called strava when me and the wife ride our mountain bikes. We can go to the middle of the national forest where you have no hope of service for a call or even a text but strava tracks us the whole time, just like a normal gps it can track us within inches and tell our elevation and speed and all that. It stores all the info it collects from the gps and uploads it to strava the next time we hit cell service.

People must think they're real important to have government/industry tracking their every move, lol.
I know I aint.

Your location matters a lot when someone is trying to find you. Like to serve a red flaw or some such nonsense.

Social engineering relies on data of the masses. you are a part of the mass. If you don't do what they want, they come to find you. Happening in China. Guess who owns most 5G tech?

If the law is trying to find me, I am not going to be at home.

I've had a cell phone for more years than most folks I know, got first one early 90s. I know they gather data and for the most part where or how I use my phone I car less if they follow..Mine is older so off it can't be tracked don't need battery out.

I did find it interesting though that the health dept lady made a point of mentioning it. That they were track movement patterns and noticed an up tick. Didn't want people to get to comfortable with idea of moving around yet. We are no where near past this bug and try to limit movement. I don't find that terribly invasive if you know you phone is on. Wasn't like they suddenly pinged anyone saying get your butt home. Didn't say they were looking at any one individual.. They may have check cell travel patter no people tested positive..That maybe a question one the reporters could ask..

Remember years ago if you were out and about and you reached for your wallet in your back pocket and it wasn’t there? An oh crap where did I leave it feeling! The cell phone has trumped that lol

GPS
Cell towers are very easily traceable/trackable.

Ever notice if you're driving down the road/stopping for gas/ getting groceries/ etc etc that your phone will tell you Wifi networks are available? They already got you at that point.

That's where they will get you unless you abandon your family permanently.
If you ever seen the show-first 48-they use cellphone data to help find criminals occasionally, but it is a very small part of the investigative procedure.

But it's for the good of society!!! What if they find you consistently go within 6 feet of other cell phone users? You should be locked up for putting lives at risk!!!

Better put a camera in your living room too, so big brother knows you aren't doing anything wrong at home. After all you've got nothing to hide, right?

Laptop cameras, Google tv's, alexa's, all those can can and are being used to gather data.

We have rather large areas in this state that don’t have cell towers = no service = no tracking. The GPS UNIT on my CMV gets lost and says on the computer is unable to determine location. I have to log in again for the E logs to work. They know I’ve been driving just no clue where. If you worried that THEY are TRACKING your phone just double wrap your phone in aluminum foil. No signal in or out easy peasy. When Qual Com first started tracking big trucks for logistics and E logs a driver I knew wrapped the transponder on his truck with foil. The next time he called dispatch for load info they told him that he had better have high flotation tires on or he was in big trouble! The GPS had his location about half way between the west coast and Hawaii. The metal liner wallets designed to defeat E scanners from stealing your credit card info while still in your pocket work on the same principle. Ain’t technology GREAT! Have a nice day!
