they were supposed to be on spring break 3/16 till 3/23.

about 3/26 they had a come get anything you might have left at school time

started online at home school 2 weeks ago , my oldest has all work done by Tuesday and my son procrastinates all week putting it off

It was cancelled here in Michigan last week which was during spring break. They had already been out for 2 weeks before spring break. If they stay on the usual schedule and go back the day after Labor Day, they will have had a 25 week summer vacation.

the real question will how will they handle it when they go back.

I see change coming for how classes are run to keep kids from spreading sickness.

we got lucky that most of the nastiest have stayed on the other side of the world , but there will probably be more like this rather than less.

I’m only two counties away from Potter County. Maybe I can load him up in his handicap van and pcr2 can yuck it up to the boy in person. He’s gonna face plenty of bullies in his life... ridicule from an old man who thinks he’s clever, I can do without. Think about this boy and those like him the next time you want to make jokes about short buses and those who ride them.

How grown men can find ANY humor joking about physically and mentally handicapped kids Is beyond me. Because that’s who ride those buses. Meet some of the kids, and get to know the hardships they face, I guarantee you would never make another mention of short buses. Or maybe some would.
