It looks really cheap! I don't know what the difference between physical and not physical is but 10 years ago or so it was about $50. What is it now 10?

I think it depends on what amount you are talking about. Physical silver (actual silver that you have and can hold in your hands) vs silver certificates of ownership could be good to have around in 50 to a few hundred ounces.....depending on how much cash you can afford to invest and not miss. A few weeks ago it was pretty low ($11 or so) but you would have had a hard time buying some for that.

Silver is an industrial metal primarily, kind of like copper. If you feel that there is going to be industrial demand for metals then buy it. However, if you want a hedge against inflation buy gold.

As evidence that silver and gold react differently to economic conditions just compare the price of the two over the last month or so. Just because they are both precious metals does not mean they have the same uses, or respond to economics and other world issues in the same way.

I've heard that copper, brass, aluminum, etc are way down right now too. Iron is $20 a ton around here right now. That's crazy!

I know a junker who dosent report sales or file taxes yearly who is mad because of no stimulus check. Hmmm. That junker needs to stack it deep and ride the storm out! Chris
