Here we live in a harsher land so are able to cope better when we have to do things for ourselves.

Most people have these things called " bills" that keep coming even if they have no income. Most aren't gonna be able to afford to live a laid back life, they are going to have to work as much as possible to make up for lost time.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Thats what I'm saying-you wouldnt have bills if you didnt have to pay other people to do stuff for you or supply you with stuff.
Probably see more people giving up that rat style of life after getting a taste of depending on themselves.
Pretty sure a lot of people have stopped paying those bills and are liking that.

The laid back lifestyle must be working. The average Canadian lives almost 4 years longer then the average American

Oh Canada, Lol....That's alright Upstate we won't red flag you, we have the stars and stripes and that's what really matters, and it ain't red like their maple rag leaf of a flag, or the overcoats their ancestors wore

We all have bills. You know, electric, cars to maintain, doctors, stuff like that.
Yes maybe people will quit buying as much unneeded stuff, but I doubt it.

A lot of people have stopped paying those bills because they are dirt bags and expect the rest of us to do it for them.
