The end of February or early March I can't remember exactly (just before it was officially here) I was sick for a couple of days and my son had a temp of 102 for a couple of days. I've wondered if it might have been covid. Figured it was probably here for a while before documented cases showed up.

ALL the news outlets are reporting that based on anti body testing corona has been here for months. Some say as early as last November. Ok you ask why the explosion. My opinion it was fanned by the media to the point that most folks would have the symptoms normally would have just stayed home or saw their family Doc for treatment . But after being scared by the out cries if they coughed, sneezed or belched they ran to the er and flooded the hospitals. Now that the fear mongers have been treated or tested the rush has died down. If statistics would remove the terminal patients from the counts the numbers would drop drastically. I'd agree it's been here sooner. My daughter got sick in January along with a few people she works with. The spouse of one of the people she works with came home from a trip to China just before Christmas, a few weeks later everyone got sick. While I agree the media doesn't help any, you have to wonder about one thing. For three months, December, January, and February, there may have been some deaths related to covid 19, but nothing out of normal to get people to notice. Yet for 6 week in March and April almost 50,000 people die from covid 19. Now I'm willing to admit there may have been some deaths in December, January, and February that were covid related and we didn't know it, but it sure seems like we made a big jump 4 or 5 months after it came here, and we can't blame that on media coverage.

Its false reporting last week our county went from 0 deaths to 10 overnight the corner called them out then other county corners called them out so the Pa health department got caught in the act 2 days later Pa. deaths went down 201 deaths in one day

Can’t wait for my antibody test. Supposed to be available here on Monday thru a doctor and May 4th for consumers. I certainly don't believe that an antibody test gives anyone enough information to make a good decision. So what if you test positive for the antibody but you do not test at all for the antigen ? You can have a test result that is positive antibody AND positive antigen...........which means you are currently infected and creating antibodies .AND still contagious to others. If you are going to test for antibodies you need to test for antigen also or the test is almost useless.

And isn't the reliability of the antibody tests still questionable because of the percentage of false negatives?

IMO, an awful lot of people died from other causes but were reported as Wu flu deaths in order to bolster numbers. It will be very interesting to look into the statistics compiled after this has settled and compare cancer, lung, diabetic, and heart related fatalities reported during this time frame versus the long term average of deaths during the same span to extrapolate a more accurate picture of its affects. Now this is not to say this is a hoax, just hard to get a true reading IF the books are actually being cooked.
