Can anyone help me with an ID on these traps? I think the one is potentially an old hand forged trap but I'm not sure. Pretty sure the one is an old Triumph jump and the other is a Montgomery dogless. Thoughts?

long spring looks to be hand forged, I think. a monty step-in, and a compact jump.

The Montgomery looks original except the chain was shortened.
If it has a W stamp it was mine lol.
I learned how to make those into a pretty good trap.

I would not mess with the other two.
Several here knows what they are.

There is a great deal on antique trap books on the trap shed that would help you identify those

Thanks for the info folks! I do plan on setting the old Montgomery’s. I’ll check out the Trap Shed for the book. Thanks for the tip. I have no idea what to do with that hand forged one other than look at it and wonder about it’s history.

The long spring looks like a mountain man trap. Could be valuable.

What makes you say that? I like how the dog looks like an old nail repurposed.
