Thank you coydog2. I haven't seen this movie but it looks spot on.
I might add understanding Communism itself from a Marxist perspective is rather important also. We think of Russia and China, but that's not the theology of the movement per se. This liberal theology is based as many are on the belief that humankind is evolving based entirely on human efforts. Lenin took Marxist ideals and militarized it, but Karl Marx was a philosophical theologian who envisioned a nirvana utopia based on human efforts. That's what the "true" Marxist fights for. The advancement of humankind toward nirvana. They labor for a bigger cause than themselves.

3 minutes in. "Most the people on the left arn't communist, just the useful idiots Lennon spoke of, being used to promote a socialist adgenda, which is the first and necessary step towards communism." Says it all right there. These people on the left are their own worst enemy and don't even know it.
No Jab.

True communism sounds like a nice idea. Everybody contributes as much as they are able and everyone shares the rewards equally. The problem is that as soon as people figure out you can share equally in the rewards if you don't contribute, people stop contributing.
When that happens, communism can only be saved by a strong tyrannical government forcing everyone to work. But, the work is sloppy and inefficient as there is still no reward for hard work or quality work. Production declines. There are shortages. Food and necessities are rationed until the system becomes so poor that the government can no longer support itself on the labor of the people and the system fails.

Hope to watch it tonight. Finals week is upon me next week, so whew.... it's real. Thursday I'm done with this semester studies... and Friday I start trapping for 3.5 weeks! Yippee!
I suspect in this movie, I'll see the humanistic, equitable, rational, greater good planning of those who followed the "great" German liberal philosophers and theologians of the 1800's, themselves students of one hundred years of "enlightened" thinking = The "Age of Reason" that started with Immanuel Kant and others in Europe in the 1700's, perking down to other great minds such as Darwin, and others.... the age that began in earnest to foster the "truth" = that man's ration and experience is the answer to life's great mysteries, rather than church or the Bible. There is no creator or created, there is only individualism and the rationale of experience. No morals. Just cause. It fascinates me when someone doesn't believe there could be a creator, but they believe in right and wrong. Morals? In a creator-less world. Who figured that out? Um.... the great philosophers of the 1800's mostly. At least the Hindus realize that with no Supreme One, there is no right and wrong and as all is corrupt and evil here on earth, because we're all just floating particles.
Here we are today three hundred years after the Enlightenment era, where we're now marinated in what's called post-modernism... started in the 1950-60's although some say it began as early as 1900. The age of civil rights, and gender equality, all if which sounds reasonable. It would be, if evil didn't have a hand on most of it.
All I know with > 90% certainty is coyotes are much easier to trap than trying to get a post-modern to agree to humbly disagree.

Reading a very good book about some of this right now from Eugene Peterson, titled, "Eat this Book." As in the Bible.
Our world, even at a religious level have been tremendously impacted by the last centuries of philosophy and cultural influences, whether we realize it or not. From his perspective, Peterson explains what Holy, Holy, Holy means today, even to those who attend religious gatherings. Culture impacts us deeply He writes;
"We are nurtured to be self-centered. We enter adulthood with the working assumption that whatever we need and want and feel forms the divine control center of our lives.
My Holy needs are "non-negotiable. My so-called rights, defined individually, are fundamental to my identity. My need for fulfillment, for expression, for affirmation, for sexual satisfaction, for respect, my need to get my own way—all these provide a foundation to the centrality of me and fortify my self against being diminished amongst others."
My Holy Wants are evidence of my expanding sense of kingdom. I train myself to think big because I am big, important, significant. I am larger than life and so require more and more goods and services, more things and more power. Consumption and acquisition are the new fruits of the Spirit.
My Holy Feelings “are the truth of who I am. Any thing or person who can provide me with ecstasy, with excitement, with joy, with stimulus, with spiritual connection validates my sovereignty. This of course, involves employing quite a large cast of therapists, travel agents, gadgets and machines, recreations and entertainments to cast out the devils of boredom or loss or discontent—all the feelings that undermine or challenge my self-sovereignty.”

What are they teaching you about 501c3 and what is your opinion? Do you receive Fema/Clergy Response Training?
Finster ,I posted it thinking it would of got taken down like some of my other post .
Having watched the entire movie , I am puzzled why it would get taken down unless it got took down by YouTube as they like to censor things that they have an 'Agenda' with...........and that exactly is one of the things the movie touches on , censorship. There is a great deal of history and facts in the movie. As stated , history and facts don't care about your feelings or beliefs. There is a lot of dark moments in history and some really bad events happened. To learn what happened and is going to happen helps you prepare/prevent history repeating itself. There is a lot of this in the movie. Very informative , learning history is a good tool to learn , to ban viewing it is just wrong.
