Thinking of a few positives coming out of this mess,

Insurance companies refunding some of the insurance costs.
People are learning where their food really comes from and the grocery store is not where it’s made at.
Buying a gun is not what they were being told how easy it was.
Free time to get things done.
Politicians being reminded of what the Constitution is about and finding out who to vote out ASAP.
Time to hunt spring turkey.
Country living ways have it’s advantages.

Add anymore you can think of to the list.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

No free time for me. Today was my 1st day off after 8-12 hour shifts. Back at it again tomorrow.

Thanks Keith. Another thing people should learn. Set some money aside for a rainy day. You won't have to depend on a govt stimulus check to get you thru a rough spell

after 12 years of working from home my day doesn't change very much.

still working >40 every week

my son has been spending more time fishing than school.

my daughter has been learning sourdough.

had the time to put a new intake manifold in the 2000 Ford expedition , saved several hundred if I had to let the shop do it for lack of time , the bonus on that is my son helped with it , it was his first really quality time under the hood of a car he is 16

lots of pickled fish made

plenty of bad stuff out there but this was some good stuff.

not really a benefit of but I drove past the local gun shop they had closed early on , it is a father son shop nights and weekends. they are open again for weekends , I stopped in and they had a decent stock , stuff they had ordered pre-covid , slowly trickled in to fill their empty shelves while they were closed a few weeks . I got a few more primers while I was there.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

More money...20% pay raise to work instead of taking a 4 week handout.
Don’t have to get up as early to check traps due to sorta working from home.
Way less traffic when I have to go in and come home.
More time to turkey hunt.

It would be interesting to overlay a Red State (county)/Blue State (county) map over a CV-19 infection map. If you know what I mean?

Traffic is picking back up but i can still drive my semi from one side of kc to the other in a very reasonable time at 7 a.m.

Parents are staying home with kids and doing their lessons with them. I bet we have some better behaved as well as better learned kids when school opens back up

Good things out of this mess, brass tacks lol. Canning, supporting, letters. To name a few. I have nieces that want to learn canning. I have one who we keep in contact via letters. I think this whole thing has made us stronger and I like letters.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....
