Not broilers I hope your talking combo layer type meat birds, them broilers have restricted feeding to avoid growth issues. Just a FYI

Why are letting chickens drive your tractor? So I have something to watch while I drink beer.

The term tractor comes from people pulling the pen around their yard with a tractor. Thanks.Never heard the term before.

Looks good. I have done a few small batches of broilers. I have had great luck with them. When they are small, I let em eat. As they get bigger I would feed twice a day, and try to force them to eat more grass. I ran them in a small tractor like that and it worked great. Pull the feed at least 18 hours before you butcher, it makes the clean up much easier. Thanks for the advice. That sounds about like my plan for them. I'll move them as much as I can, so they have grass under them.

Nice work! I'd suggest wheels as well if you can swing it. Dragging a heavier chicken tractor without wheels can often be herky-jerky, and I've seen quite a few chicks get crushed that way. Wheels allow for a slower, steadier pull. If you can manage that consistently without wheels you're probably fine.
You planning to run them in temporary fencing as well or stick to the tractor? Right now planning on just the tractor. If they seem to get too crowded, I'll rig up some temporary fencing. I'm sure I'll put wheels on. Just have to pick them up, don't have any in my stash.

Seen some people rig up some old push mower wheels that can be lowered so you move the tractor around and then raise em out of the way.

Another option would to be cut some old pvc pipe and mount to the bottom of the rig so it slides around easier.
