Its too bad we live in a country of timid sheep. Its 100% the fault of U.S. citizens that government has not been told to suck eggs and business's reopen. Its time to tell regulator's to pull permits we still wont close. Its time for the public to tell anyone who will listen to ask for a jury so penalty's can not be enforced.
Timid sheep. Makes me ashamed. I wonder what my ancestor, John Clifton, a corporal in the continental army and citizen of Virginia would say about the people he helped make this country for.

It started out to be a program to help the Nation out now it’s just a party to spend money on.

Where do you see government doing this? I see a handful of tyrannical governors, and mayors, by executive orders, going overboard. And in many cases I see the local governments, county and state sheriffs, county and state attorneys, refusing to follow those tyrannical executive orders. If you live in a state that has one of these governors or mayors, I can understand the frustration. But the entire government system is not to blame for the actions of a few tyrants.

fauci has yet to make an accurate prediction. Exactly! At one time he predicted 40M Americans would die. When that doesn't look like it's going to happen, he keeps dropping the number. Trump should fire him and get someone more competent.

It started out to be a program to help the Nation out now it’s just a party to spend money on. True, except originally it was to provide financial relief to the furloughed and unemployed workers. The only way the democrats would go along with it was if it included some of their other pet projects such as 50M to some performing arts, 25M to the JFK center, etc. Projects the democrats couldn't get passed in prior bills that had absolutely nothing to do with the Covid19 pandemic.

Has anyone watched the video? The JFK center, Performing arts and the like are old news. This bill makes that almost seem sane!

You sure are right about hospitals being empty. Once a month I have to go in to have my blood tested since I'm on Warfarin. They usually have 3 people doing the testing and I have an appointed time each time I go in, usually 2:30PM. One day when I had an appointment, I called to see if I could come in at a different time? I was told to come whenever I wanted. So, I went in about 1:00PM. I was the only patient there. I got in immediately. Instead of the usual 3 nurses doing the blood testing, only one was working. I found out the 3 still worked there, but only two days a week.

Many of us have created these problems ourselves, me included.
When I was a kid, we were poor. My parents never gave me much outside of 3 square meals every day, a roof over my head, and clothes. Some of my clothes were hand me downs from relatives whose own kids had outgrown. Growing up, we played games outside. Once a month, we would go to an outdoor movie. But, we would sit outside the theater yard on the street and watch the movie without sound in our car. There were 4 of us kids. Everything I had later on, I had to work for, save my money, and buy myself.
So, after I was married and had kids, I decided I wanted them to have it better than I did. My oldest, a boy was a handful. His last year of high school, with less than two months left until graduation, he was going to drop out. So, to get him to finish and graduate, I told him I'd buy him a used car. He graduated and I got him a used Opel, which he wasn't that thrilled with; thought it should have been something better.
My youngest daughter was a good student easily managing a B average in school. I was happy with her. She chose good friends, never got into any trouble that I was aware of and graduated high school. She went on to graduate from a technical college. So, while she was going to the tech college, I bought her a red Beretta GT that was only a few years old that she fell in love with. We bought her almost all her clothes during the school years. We wanted her to look her best, so all her clothes were new. No hand me downs like my wife and I had gotten when we were kids.
This same daughter has the same attitude that I did with her only child. She has one daughter. She wants her daughter to have more and better than she did. At 16, even before her daughter has a driver's license, they bought her a very nice car, all the best clothes, pretty much everything she asks for. She has her own TV, computer, lap top, etc. She is a straight A student and has never failed to make the A Honor Roll. They reward her accordingly with some mighty nice stuff at birthdays, Christmas, etc.
Each new generation tries to outdo the generation they came from by making things better for their offspring. If it continues with each new generation, it will get worse. They move from wanting something to EXPECTING something. This new spending bill doesn't help.
My doctor suggested I start doing squats, so I moved all the beer to the bottom shelf of my fridge.

And to boot, there is a bunch of anti gun related BS in that bill as well. Of course, stuff that has nothing to do with financially supporting victims of the virus. Just like the democrats did with the first stimulus package, tie on a pet project like an anti-gun measure.

Problem is, calls for trillions of dollars of more deficit spending on handouts unrelated to the crisis.
1. Extends the $600 unemployment bonus through January 2021 with an additional extension possible through March of next year.
2. Lifts the SALT cap. The House bill would lift the $10,000 cap on the federal deduction for state and local taxes in 2020 and 2021 providing a two year tax windfall tax cut to the wealthiest taxpayers in the highest taxed states.
3. Bails out states and localities to around $1 trillion in aid with the vast majority not directly in response to cost incurred in the fight against the virus.
4.The bill would forgive up to $10,000 in student loans for every borrower.
5. $25 billion bailout for the US postal service in addition to the $10 billion loan provided to the Postal Service in the CARES Act.
