I am in an unpopulated area in the NW, but routinely drive over the border into the Idaho panhandle for business , supplies, etc.

I also see WA plates still, in MT and ID.

Never have heard anything from either direction to the contrary. Spokane is a long way from Seattle coast.

I don't think you'd have any trouble. The "suggested" restrictions are being dropped in both MT and ID every day.

Without stating the duration of your trip , or to what area of WA , you can find out specifics from where you plan to go from an authority in that area.

Thank you Shope and Sharon .That would be be a bad place to get detained ! They might send me to Seattle for a sentence ,who knows what a guy could step in on the sidewalk . I could delay the trip but the time is right .A search shows nothing specific about me staying there for 14 days . Not too worried about Id.& back to Mt.

Within the last couple weeks, I drove from east-central Idaho up through Montana, then back into Idaho over Lolo Pass, then 2 days ago reversed course and drove back home. No restrictions at all that I encountered, but I camped in the way-back puckerbrush. I doubt you'll have any issues.

I'll date myself it would be better if Cookies Cafe was still open in Colville Wash I've got family in the area I should go for a visit again one of these days.
The walleye fishing should be good there by Kettle Falls too .

You should be fine. I live in north Idaho and you will be fine there. Most of eastern Washington is in phase two and no problem. If you take highway 2 you won't need to go near Spokane but I can't imagine you having any problems anywhere.

Oh you are traipsing through part of my backyaad in the NW .... smile

You will need to jog up north from 200 more to access Newport.

Some of the most beautiful country on earth .

No worries driving this whole area.

Enjoy your trip.

I thought that was a big secret? I don't fish them, but I have a friend who does. I've seen the fish he catches, it makes the walleye I see them catch on the fishing shows back east look like minnows.

Highway 2 takes you right to Newport. I am about a mile from Newport on the Idaho side. 200 merges with 2 in Sandpoint. I don't catch many walleye but got a 4 pound smallmouth tonight.
