I just bought a place that the bank is letting me live in for 30 years and there is a very large pile us hay that was used for covering the septic. Anyway, im going to burn it but want to catch some mice to use before doing it. How can a guy go about that, while concealing them from say a coyote, skunk, bird etc...

If you can find or make straight walls, the mouse traps with the big yellow pam's are the best. Set trap at 90* to the wall with no bait. Use boxes to hide the traps.

Or get some 5 gal buckets with an inch or two of bird seed or corn in the bottom. Place it next to spots they can easily climb on and go down into the bucket.

If you have some weasel boxes with rat traps with the big yellow pans, I would try them. I can't keep mice out of them. I usually put them out with just some bird seed and dry grass clippings, the mice deposit plenty of scent to attract weasels the upcoming winter.

Let's go Brandon!

If you have a lot dig a hole and put a 5 gallon bucket in it cover with a thin paper place food in the middle let the feed for a few days the make slits in the paper so they fall through.
