Distrust and contempt for science has been going on for a long, long time. Radicals like Galileo received many death threats.

I hear what you are saying, wetdog, but it isn't as bad as Noah's day, IMO. Not everyone is only evil all the time.
You have to remember what previous generations went through. Hitler's time was pretty ugly too.
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

The first five of the Ten Commandments are thought crimes, btw. That's why our civil government doesn't apply or enforce them.
The last five, on the other hand, are action crimes, dealing with harm to others, and these have mostly been enacted into law.

Ok, read the bible. Says all you need to know better than I could ever try.
Lots of things are hard to understand and hard to explain. When I look at all the many wonderful things, animals, plants, trees, nature's wonders, man, etc. it is hard to think that all this wonderful stuff just happened out of a big bang theory.

In Noah's time, things were hard to imagine for us. I think it is going to get much much worse as far as what we as a society deem as acceptable behavior. What we are seeing right now is more like the time of Judges when everyone did what was right in their own mind.
However with that said, science is advancing so fast and our ability to manipulate the human genome so easily and readily really will speed up some things....I do believe the Days of Noah are on the horizon. Chancey
