I may have missed something in your question but here goes. 20 yrs ago I bought a used Honda Mdl. 4118, 38” cut, 10 “ rear wheels. Change the oil every year, blades and plugs every 3 yrs. 18 horse twin cylinder. That’s it! Yep..The mower you mentioned is probably more mower than I need..The mower that I am describing would be a 21 inch cut or so and you engage the rear wheels to walk behind the mower..and with a 200cc or gas engine..

Yep..I saw that mower Danny...It's only 149cc and front wheel drive..The deal about the front wheel drive is that when you get to the end of your cut...typically one rasies the front wheels off the ground to make the turn..then the operator has to push dead weight to make the 180 degree turn and start the cut again..If the drive is in the rear wheels is easy to spin the mower..If that mower had the 200cc engine and rear wheel drive it would be in my corral..The deal with the engine is I have to have enough power to run the rear wheel drive and the blade at the same time..

Buy one of those chink ones from walmart for 120 bucks, run the crap out of it for a few years till the wheels rust off then toss it in the dump and get another one. Or do what I do and seed clover-it dont need cut.

“Buy one of those chink ones” lol wow. I do like the clover idea. I mow about four acres right now and the back lawn has huge patches of clover that I just mow around. It is always humming with bees.. seems like a good thing. Far as the mower goes, I don’t know if they have a model that fits your exact wants but I vote for Hustler, Ariens or Gravely. Sorry I don’t do links.

What and how much are you mowing that you only want a 21" deck with power to the wheels? With that small of a cut you can not be mowing that much lawn. Why not save some money and just get the regular push mower?
