Trap Setter OP trapper Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 4,204 Eau Claire Wi	I've got nowhere to go but down... So I store my Dps set as they take up less space. They are in shipping totes I get from work. Well tonight the wife is opening windows as it cooled off and says someone is in your garage. So I grab the equalizer a headlamp and go to see who thinks I am having a giveaway sale. I hit the light and a coon is caught in a dp! The only thing holding the chain is the interlocking lid fell shut and the cable attached to the chain is a bit tangled with the other traps in the tote. First I figure just knock it with the settle down stick but change my mind and grab the snarl pole. I look back and the masked intruder is trying to open my tub of homemade coon trail mix. So I get him in a head lock take the trap off his paw and show him the door. I am so good at coon trapping it hurts! Lol Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

Btw, I am not a very good yote trapper. Caught some greys and some reds but only one yote. But, I got the coon and grinner population in check. Lol!
