If you just look under the rocks on the bottom you're good...….just keep the tips of your fingers on the bottom and you'll feel the fish without getting bit. Holes in the bank is a whole 'nother story. Beavers will bite your nipple off.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Dang, they could of fitted him for a saddle lol, what a hoss!
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

That's awesome, but too scary for me, plus illegal here. I just put out some bank lines though. Is it really just as easy as being brave enough to stick your hand in every hole you come across? And how do you even begin to know where to look for these holes? Rocks holes and hollow logs are the good spots. Bank hole are good too but most have beavers in them like Gary said.

This guy didn't use his hands. Except to remove the hook. New Nebraska state record for pole fishing. 89 lbs, caught on the Nebraska side of the Missouri river. Released back into the river after being weighed on a certified scale. Game warden witnessed. Rulo? Nebr City? I tip my hat to that man for releasing it!
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

It makes me sad to drive thru the river towns and seeing the catfish skulls nailed to the trees.
