11 year boy mom problems: I waited 10 minutes for my son, Harry, to “pack” to go to his best buddies house.....he came out with a fishing pole. That’s it...a pole. When asked what took so long he looked at me like “duh” and said “I had to change the lure.”

Off in my own world

Fish on !!!!!!!

Sounds like a teaching moment. Trilene knot vs Palomar.

Maybe he was digging some worms, or do people still dig their own worms anymore.

Cripes, I pay 4.21 for 18 nitecrawlers at the farm supply store! I guess that's my own fault. Grandkids sure have fun though!

On the shady side of the chicken coop at my grandpas is where we dug worms until I read about making a worm bed in old refrigerators, I told my grandpa and two weeks later when I came back to visit he had one started in an old refrigerator, we had hundreds of worms then, easy Pickens.
We never bought bait, knocked cataba worms out of trees and froze them, wasp nest, turn logs over for salamanders.
Fun times.

The good news is you actually have a “man child” that will one day grow up and be able to provide for his family. Clothes and baths are way overrated at that age.
