The other officer is turning states evidence against the officer charged. His career is 100% over. I'm sure the DA threatened him with a murder charge but there is not a cop in the country that is going to work with him now. He only had 18 months on the force so I'm sure he was a little naïve. That being said, he will never be trusted again and I don't blame other officers for that.

As someone who put some time on the road wearing a badge, this disgusts me. I can't even imagine how this is happening. Ahhhh now I get it, the Fulton Co. Fulton and Dekalb counties are freaking cesspools. All of these officers that have been charged by that grandstanding DA need to file for change of venue ASAP. Otherwise the juries they get will be "low information voters". I'm sure that will be the first think his lawyer does. I know that's what I would do.
