No! To me ribeye is the best steak cut there is. IMO
Give me a fish, I will eat for a day. Teach me to fish, I will eat for a lifetime

No you can't beat ribeye. I use to only ever eat sirloin until I tried ribeye. It's just the best steak cut I've found. But then again I've never tried filet mignon. I ate New York strip until I found Ribeye.
No Jab.

The smaller side is the tenderloin same as a filet. Rib steaks have more far and marbling and way more flavor imo. Best steak is what ever the cook serves in hunting camp

I like em with the rib still in it. But no, ribeyes are the best I think a bone in ribeye is top notch too.

Traded some morels for some high end meat from creekstonefarms.com. got a whole loin (filet mignon) and a whole brisket in trade for 5lbs of shrooms. I got the better deal . Cooked up half the loin Sunday and was probably the best cut of meat I've ever had. If I'm paying tho it's a ribeye for me. Those steaks look way overdone to me. Good God man! Turn off the fire!
