Good deal. So is that about the going price for timber down around there? Could it be logged and get a return?

In case you are not a drinker, I’ve got you covered. Glad I can help another T-man. Will be 5 o’clock EDT in 30 minutes, so prepare to feel relief.

Actually this is a thing now. Glad it worked out for you.

But so you guys reading this know... the new thing is to get a deal like that... get everyone all lined up... and then show up to sign and be eh I changed my mind I want more money. Then like you said you are out thousands so you agree to pay them more money just to be done with it and to close on the deal.

Apparently that is standard practice in Chicago these days, brought in by by certain foreigners, and you really have to watch.

Anyway just food for thought. Glad it worked out in this case.

After many hours of inspection now, the land checks out good. Zero trash, no surprises and food plots, ponds and timber all look good. All of his personal property removed. Nice place. Now the work begins.

Glad it worked out. I would have posted on this earlier but what I would have said would only make you stress more. Congratulations.
