My mom moved about 10 years ago to be closer to a family member. So as a result she lives on the same shared driveway, consequently, I get her mail for her on a daily basis. Keep in mind that there are 5 voting age family members between our two addresses, ages 23, 25, 51, 52, 84. The other day my mom (84) was the only one to receive a letter from "PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA" labeled exactly like this in all caps. I'll give a few quotes from the letter.
"Americans of goodwill need to unite against politics that too often has been characterized by corruption, self-dealing, misinformation, ignorance, and just plain meanness". "Joe has the character and experience to guide us through one of our darkest times and heal us through a long recovery". "We also can't forget that November is about more than the White House. It's about electing Democrats up and down the ballot". "I hope you will support the Democratic unity fund".
She has also gotten several calls from supposed pollsters whose questions are all slanted towards Democrats. She has told them she votes Republican and not to bother her but it continues.
I have lived at this address for 25 years and my mom 10 years and we have never gotten anything like this before. We always get campaign add postcards but nothing like this. I just think it is odd that they are only sending mail and calls to an 84 year old and not any other family members.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience.

They know its the older people that vote republican-thus their target audience. Thats why they got dopey old Joe as a figurehead for the election-he will appeal to older voters since he is "like" them.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

It is obvious to me that they intend to scare elderly & minorities into thinking that a republican candidate will cut off their health care, separate them from their same sex domestic partner, deport them, or let police officers shoot them for no reason. This year, add that a republican will do everything under their power to make sure anyone with a compromised immune system dies of a virus and cant make it to the poles.
