I have the feature and most features turned off on my phone.
I still get these and Amber alerts.

I turned them all off except for severe weather, apparently , my idea of severe weather is much different then theirs.

Supposed be big uptick in covid in this county the last week an few days. In this hot weather. An from what I hear, I don't believe it at all unless certain targeted ppl in elderly housing or preexisting conditions or in run down slum ghetto areas town where lots drug addicts ? I hope not hear bunch bs crap about it at nite cleaner jib next week about more deep cleaning. I sick it up to my ears, more disenfevtant, I don't know know what they want. Easy to stand there an say someone as big shot bldg manger. Maybe could get space suit on an air mask with fogger an house walls with new paint on an douse inside bldg with fogger with disenfevtant, maybe they love smell an live like that , I don't believe in these uptick covid report cases, this guy tells me it democrats do all this , made up bs

from what i understand the president can issue alerts too these alerts you have no choice on receiving

Look up your statistics at/from a reputable source, not pulling them out of the air supplied by your butt.

9% are abducted by a parent in a custody dispute, nine percent. Your choice not to get involved. But. 330 is right, if one of yours is abducted you’ll quickly be wishing the amber alert system was seen by everyone and they didn’t think of the alert as an inconvenience. Another statistic 74% of abducted kids that didn’t come home, were killed with in three hours of being taken. 3 hours is a long time for a scared kid, very possibly long enough for the amber alert system to work if people actually cared enough to use and accept the alerts.
