For the money, can you beat a necker?

I had a Necker 600. For the money, I thought it was a good knife. I did later buy a Caribou, which I liked better. It was more flexible and stayed sharp longer.
If someone tears down the American flag and puts another flag in its place, that person should get a free, mandatory one way trip to that country.

For the money, can you beat a necker? I've got a necker that is a piece of junk, it wouldn't stay sharp from day one. One boar coon and it was dull. Buy Lee's knife and you'll never have that problem, it's quality like everything he makes, and the best one in my opinion. Besides that Lee's a great guy.

It's not about the knife It's about learning to use It. You can give a person a STEINMEYER knife and If he may fail when trying to use It. I use a Necker and I'm very proficient with It.

I bought a Green English knife last year and really like it. You won't find much in terms of reviews for that knife, but the price is right and it is decent steel and holds an edge.
Just happy to be here.

When you only do 2 hides year no need to ever sharpen your knife. LOL I must have a good Necker It must be at least 20 years old. A couple of swipes with the steel and I'm good to go.

My Necker is collecting dust. It is better than a round stick but not much.
Post or Steinmeyer are far superior knives. Never tried the Caribou but have heard good things about it also.

I have the weibe elite. It is a pretty good knife. Ive used mine for a few years now and I have nothing to complain about with fox, bobcat, coyotes, and otter that i flesh each year. Good price on it.
If i were buying one today i would probably order one of Mr Steinmeyers knives or a post.
