The virus will be around next year as well...viruses live forever. I will eat coyote and coon fat all winter and get toughened up so it won't faze me when I go to Canada next year!!

See, that's the attitude we need to survive this pandemic lol. Sorry bout your trip Jeff, hopefully next year all this sissyness will subside. In the mean time, you could start a tune thread to help ease the pain lol.

Dang- hopefully some guide thinks up a way to quarantine Americans for 14 days- you either have to be in the boat, or in the log cabin by the lake. I also hope he gets wealthy with this scheme

The fishing trip is off this year, the lodge owners are calling it. They said when the border does open they are saying a 14 day quarenteen. So they said it's not happening this year.  Could you protest as you cross the border? Maybe even put a decal on your car that says BLM? BLM can mean anything you want... Just don't tell them what it means to you.... But i bet it'd help with any government official They'd probably give you the deed to the camp when you arrive across the border!

There's always Fort Peck Lake here in Northeastern Montana with a lot of monster pike and some great walleye and bass fishing just leave the zebra mussels at home and remember Montana is a clean drain and dry state for all boats.

Mindless bureaucrats and politicians everywhere! You were going fishing and spending most of that time away from people and on the water right? I bet a group could probably cross the border and never spend 10 minutes in a standing still situation with other people almost the whole time if they didn't want to do so. I guess you could cough ona tree and someone miraculously touch the same spot within an hour and pick up the bug. So dumb...
