OP trapper G Joined: Feb 2020 Posts: 862 Ohio	This for Ohio laws so idk how many of you can help but in the rules you can’t trap beaver and river otter on public land without a permit so if I where to go to a state park can I trap everything else but beaver and otter without a permit or is it that I have to have a permit and with it I can only trap beaver and river otter and nothing else?

20scout trapper Joined: Nov 2017 Posts: 5,526 West Central MN	I've picked up lots of private land to trap by trapping gophers, skunks, woodchucks and other nuisance animals for neighbors. Once they see how responsible you are then the doors start to open up by telling their friends and family and before long you have plenty of places to trap. Just be polite and do your best not to catch their dog or mama's favorite cat! Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.
