Was wondering what blades would work the best. Anyone use them to help with butchering?
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Yup- it is awesome for knocking off the hocks, collecting those yummy ribs, or halving out a full carcass. I am with Mr. Ed- the courser end of the metal blades. To use a wood blade gets messy and you all but need a vice to hold anything still enough

That's what I'm thinking of using it for, legs, neck, ribs and such. My hands are getting worse so trying to come up with easier ways lol. Metal blades seem to be the ticket, how long of a blade y'all use?

reciprocating saw is what you have if you have anything other than a Milwaukee saw-zall. Saw-zall is a brand/model name.
if you have any other brand it is a reciprocating saw.
much like all circular saws are refered to as Skil-saws but only one brand is actually that name much like the saw-zall they were the first well known name for that tool
or how a Ka-Bar may be made by another manufacture there wasn't even a manufacturer named that till after the war.
yes I have used it to cut deer and metal or bi-metalic 9 inch demolition blade both worked well
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I use a sawsall to quarter deer. Works like a champ and takes longer to plug it in. I use a wood blade myself but that's pretty much what I have

The buffalo guy up in Kansas- that is what we called him anyway- used a chainsaw and when I asked him he said he rain fryer oil thru a new saw and it was dedicated to processing only. I haven't done it but I thought it might be clever enough to work.
