I don't know how you came up with that idea.
At the bottom of the page on the right it says "Death data often has significant delays in reporting, so data in the past 2 weeks will be updated frequently".

There is graph above that message and it says this " Resident Deaths by Date of Death" above it. If you look at that graph on the 14th of July there is approximately 25 deaths documented so far . Looking at it closer maybe only 18-20

"Deaths are reported when confirmed, so many of those counted each day actually died days or weeks ago."

FYI I collected data while working for Engineering at TRW IRC in Burlington,Iowa . I know what it takes to get ALL the information. It can get hung up several ways. I won't bore you with some of the stories( excuses) I've heard
I will admit that the news services do try to beat the others with news and sometimes that makes for misinterpretation but they would love to prove the other guys wrong.
