I currently own a 2013 John Deere 850i Gator and am thinking of trading it for something else. Any suggestions? One thing I like is the Gator will go down the road at 50 to 55 mph. Sure makes it easy to get from trap area a to trap area b.

My boss has a Kawasaki mule, I hate it. I have a Polaris ranger, its been good. Another guy I help a lot has a Honda, and thats what I'd buy if I was getting another.

Just traded in my older ranger 800 XP in for a 2020 Ranger 1000 XP all rigged up for trapping. This is the 4th Polaris side by side I've owned and have loved all of them. I started out years back with the Polaris RZR's but as I got older the Rangers were much easier for me to get in and out of and they have a much larger bed than the RZR's plus I'm not into the mudding anymore.lol. alot of my friends have a wide array of different brands of side by sides but all of my friends that trap also are all running the Polaris Rangers but there are good ones by every different manufacturer. All depends on what you like and are comfortable in.

Life's too short, enjoy everyday like it was your last.

Honda Pioneer 1000, love it. 55, tough, 4 wheel drive works great, 5 seat, bed dumps. lots of room still. And compact for length. Just my take

In that order my choice was the Yamaha viking and love it . Honda's are great but way more dollars. Never liked my Polaris but might be good on flat ground [Linked Image]

Had a polaris ranger it was junk, got a yamaha wolverine now and love it.
Yamaha builds a tough machine, 4500 miles so far and 1 front shock, and exhaust spring is all thats went wrong with it. All warranty work.
Buy honda or Yamaha can't go wrong

Let me sugar coat this
