Liberals WANT to destroy the bill of rights. They are upset that conservatives do not. Liberals do not see themselves as wanting to save it.
This was the editorial that got me thinking. This was posted by Pete's very liberal sister. Read this. Then, if you replace "Mr. Trump" with "liberals" it sounds as if it could be written by any one of us. So I guess I just started thinking that both sides want what they think is best for America, but that those two ideologies are as far apart as the North and South Pole. link

If Biden gets elected can I get on subsidy and get free stuff too Yes. Especially if you are an illegal transgendered person of color.

THAT liberal may well want to defend free speech, the right to worship and assemble, the right to be armed. It looks to me like most do not.
I am unaware of anything in the constitution that says government can not take by force from one individual and give to another individual through use of tax. That to me defines liberalism. Take money by force from the person who earned it, and give that money to someone who has not.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

No one is forcing to me to take it but I was forced to pay in to it.
Just pointing out we are already a socialist country. So you are getting return on your investment, not suckling. There is a difference.

How about we aim for the middle then? And figure out how to get along. I’m not even going to address the fact that there’s discussion of shooting up half our population in the attempt to restructure our social programs. Ludicrous. Whoever is pulling the strings has you jumping to their tune the same as the left. Mirror images of the same kind of ignorance. I used to think that was possible but I sure can't see it anymore.

The left has stretched their end so far in the past 6 months that, yes, the middle is no longer acceptable compromise for a free yet lawful, democratic society

I always thought there was just a right and a wrong. In the U.S., the Constitution is supposed to define this right/wrong for our governance. There is no middle ground anymore because we no longer legislate nor judge by the limitations set forth by the Constitution.. The only thing the middle does is compromise away the very document that defines what is right or wrong.

The only thing the middle does is compromise away the very document that defines what is right or wrong. The middle ground is trust that Americans will do the right thing. Government should be reserved to manage the exception.

We should all be able to get along just fine as long as I keep paying for someone else’s roof, food and illegitimate children I’d rather we address these problems by increasing minimum wage, access to education, access to birth control and safe abortions, than through violent “revolution “. So, will you kill me on your constitutional jihad?

If you don't like earning 7 bucks an hour then don't work at McDonalds. Birth control is available at walmart. Abortion clinics are in every state. Say what you mean. You expect responsible people to pay for others irresponsibility.

Say what you mean, that you think shooting up the country is going to fix these things. And answer my question, are you going to kill me and my family?

By suggesting ways we might lessen the “need” to pay for those things? There is no "need" for anybody to pay for those things except by the people who want them Say what you mean, that you think shooting up the country is going to fix these things. And answer my question, are you going to kill me and my family? Only if you do like the blm in St Louis. Show up here and tell me your taking my home Coos. I am fed up with socialism. I won't tolerate communism.
