Thanks Lug, that's just a progress pic. Them parsnips are 3' high and I've neve had them like this before. I figured something out...broadcast seed over a well manured spot, lol. No rows.
Cucumbers are just starting and I ate a smaller one a day ago. Beets are ready for beets and greens , if you didnt want them too big.

That big hump of tomatoes is growing on top of a manure pile throught some 6" mesh tomato cages that are laying in there covered wagon style because I never completed all of them. A little trellissing makes me look more professiional.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing. I took on veg gardening for the first time this year, always wanted to but it never reached the top of the priority list. It's a great hobby, wish I had started decades ago. Talk about relaxing and therapeutic. I'm at the stage where I'm picking zucchinis morning and night. Can't eat and give them away fast enough......very rewarding. Couple baskets of cukes, lots coming, 42 tomato plants of several varieties, lots of greens ones, no colour yet.
