I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

My arthritic arse is digging to keep on keepin on. Went to my stomping grounds I been a stompin since the 70's. I used to catch turtles but by lines. Eric Space has mentored me through PM's and I went to build some cage traps. Got all done but the wire fence is out of stock here to complete them. So, I bought two net traps off of beaverfoot on here and, not to his fault, they are lost in the mail lol. So, just in case I wasn't meant to trap turtles this year, I took myself down to turtle country that's not far from me. Been there for over 40 years now, it's changed and so has how our DOW has in managing it. They suck lol. Going in.

It looks like a great spot for bass too. Well, lol. Used to be. In the 80's and 90's I knew ever grass blade. Things have changed now and a lot don't want to talk about it. Apex predators get the green light and our rats, and quality fishing is gone Lug. They purposely allow the beaver to flood roads and lands that used to be awesome trapping, hunting and fishing lands. Restricting access. I'm upset with them, but still humbled to be out there.

Furstroker, it's hard to say because some areas won't get above hip boots and some slide off and get ya paddling lol. I used to, as a kid take a lantern in one hand and a stick in the other and wade. I'd smack frogs and had a minnow bucket tied to my cut off shorts. My ole man was a card, and he said to me one night, I thought I seen it all, reckon I didn't. That still makes me giggle.

That's funny stuff there. Couple buddies and i used bb guns when we were young. Then cook the legs over a fire. Yeah, those waters and whats underneath look unpredictable at best. Fun stuff. And somehow, they always change despite very slow current.
