KeithC trapper K Joined: May 2009 Posts: 15,869 Champaign County, Ohio.	I usually would have had ripe tomatoes over a month ago. It's an odd year. I have a few tomatoes on, but none close to ripe. The plants have gotten tall, but have flowered very little. I have lots of cucumbers too. I'll can bread and butter pickles later tonight. I salted down about 3/4 of a 5 gallon bucket of sliced cucumbers and it has shrunk to a little over half a bucket. We'll make small cucumbers into whole dill pickles tonight too. Keith

I will be having tomatoes about 3 weeks earlier than last year and planted about a week later. Heat and moisture. Did my first batch of bread and butter pickles last Friday. The next batch will be dills. Bryce
