It's hard to imagine how quickly Fuhrer Cuomo and his wrecking crew have shredded NYS. They call themselves "Progressives". To me it's a bastardization of the word. Being a progressive should mean a person that wants progress, a forward thinker. This New York AG has bigger aspirations than taking down the NRA and I'm certain she thinks this attempt will look good on her resume. She is spending New York taxpayers money to take on the NRA, who is spending our (membership dues) money defending her frivolous suit and NOT defending the 2nd Amendment attacks! I think the left can wear us down financially, and this is what she is attempting to do.

Not siding with the antis at all. The NRA has had long standing and well documented issues at the top. I'm not a member and don't have a dog in that fight but there have been internal squabbles.
In light of that when your running the most maligned and politically hated non profit on the planet it behooves the leadership to run a clean ship without open, and highly visible, internal conflict. Nor should the top man ever become the focus of the organization. (See Wayne Pacelle and HSUS for an example)

Wayne Lapierre should've stepped down when the last attempt to oust him was made.

When you have a non-profit that may (or may not) have financial abuse by its officers, then those officers are investigated and then removed, if guilty. You do NOT seek to disolve an entire organization with over 5 million members. Unless that organization, and those members, just happen to be your political enemies. This is a political hit job, no matter what may or may not be happening.

I think this will come back to haunt the democrat party in the long run, 1/3 of NRA members are registered democrats.

Wayne has it coming never liked him and dropped out of the organization because of him just a waste of money.

The attorney general wants to completely destroy the NRA and its 5 million membership. Her lawsuit has nothing to to do with Wayne. It is a cover for her. Do we, as members, have it coming?

I agree they have issues for sure.... I just dont think liberals shutting them down while gun owners stand back and say thats what they deserve makes much sense. This has nothing to do with what is going on within that association. It has to do with taking away your rights and what better way then to get gun owners to agree with them that the NRA deserves whats coming to em. Unless we are going to replace it with something better this will be the biggest victory against gun owners we have ever seen.

Lol. The NRA is an absolute joke. They are an organization of corrupt old Fudds that don't care about the second amendment unless their bolt action deer rifle or shotguns are in jeopardy. 1986 ban? NRA endorsed it. Bump stock ban? Yep, ok'd by the NRA.

^^^^ good post. If there are bad apples in an organization then get rid of them but don't throw the whole organization under the bus. Imo when you are feared and or hated by the gun haters than your doing good in my book. Same goes for Trump, the more dems he hacks off the more i like him.

I would bet a lot of NRA haters on here also find an excuse not to be a member of their state and national trapping organizations. A lot of people on this sight unfortunately.

When your state association is anti-trapping by any method they don't approve of then yes I won't support them.

There are other organizations that are far better and would serve to protect your rights far more than the NRA. If you're supporting them as well, ok sure. If you're only supporting the NRA then LOL. There's a good reason Colion Noir dumped them, and a lot of big companies and shooters are following suit.
