I would switch it of with a 12 gauge for sure ... this story playing out in TN I am going to have more of a lookout now for sure and evaporate them if I find any.

Now days, if you leave your house you have to figure you’re on TV somewhere. Heck they probably have it inside your house too. I’ll quietly let the inside idea wreak havoc on someone retinas if it’s real.
It’s not right, but it’s how today is. This is more proof of guilt before and until proven innocence.
What would happen if he would have shot a couple of those warrant servers, in defense of his family on a quiet Saturday morning? In my world, that’s how the tweeters trick people into opening the door.

For the record, the little brother of a guy I went to school with, works for the USDA, that is the agriculture department, and he told us, that he can and does, zero in satellites here and watches us farm. In 1968, the CIA in Vietnam had cameras at 200 miles above the earth which could read the addresses on letters. The technology is far advanced of that era. They now have acoustic feedback which will paint pictures of room interiors and can see through walls. The FBI has airliners 24/7 flying in the Stingray operation picking up all of our cell and computer transmissions before sending them on. Open Fields is what the agencies use, who do not have NSA uplinks to your computer of cell phone, monitoring you by your consent, with audio and video.

Here in Ga, if there is reasonable suspicion that a game violation has occurred/or likely will occur the area may be surveilled. Any evidence observed/obtained may lead to probable cause for issuing a citation or for an arrest.
We dont just randomly conduct surveillance. We've got too much ground to cover protecting our wildlife resources to do that. Most of our camera surveillance is conducted on public lands and private property at the request of the landowner.
We've determined that visual media falls under the Open Fields doctrine, but any audio recording (of people talking) would not as a warrant would be needed to use that against them. If the officer actually hears the conversation...different story.
This reasonable suspicion I speak of is the same standard needed to initiate some investigations and brief detentions. Obviously, probable cause is determined if an actual violation or crime is observed.
For what its worth...this is how/why we utilize surveillance.
Btw...we are empowered by Ga law to go on or about lands (outside of dwellings or buildings) without a warrant, in the performance of our duties. One of those duties is ensuring conservation of our wildlife resources. It would be impossible to protect our State's wildlife if GWs could only go on land with a warrant in hand.

The rights of the people are more important than the rights of the government. SCOTUS made a huge error. If there is probable cause to believe that there is a violation of conservation of wildlife resources, you can get a warrant. Without probable cause, it's wrong - legal or not.

My right to own property, and say who may or may not trespass, is more important than a deer bird or fish. Just another example of judges saying what they want the law to be rather than what the constitution says. If open field is the law why can't I trap anyplace I please other than in somebody's yard or building? Im thinking its now legal for me to take pictures of JR high girls at a private swim party and post them on pedo's r us.
This is another bad ruling by those black dress wearing baboons.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Is there a need to protect wildlife from being taken illegally....for the public good? If your neighbors are poachers there might be...but what do I know.

It's their ground the states(kings) wildlife resources are trespassing. Funny if my livestock get in the road and hit by a car I am responsible. Yet if I hit a deer the state is not responsible for damages. But if I shoot said deer on my property outside their rules I can get fined and charge a restocking fee. In addition to loosing personal freedoms and property. But it's the classic separate rules for us and them. Don't get started on it for the greater good that's a direct path to socialism.

I'm not afraid of men of character like Swamp Wolf exercising the authority to surveil.
However the likes of Comey, Obama, et al scares the living hades out of me.
Perchance it's time to rethink some things and reestablish some boundaries. I agree. Scary thing is drones. Almost no regulation , in and out before you even know they are/were there. They are being used by lots of small local governmental/municipal/law enforcement type agencies. Even HOA's are using them impunity. Regulation is needed. Regulation on the GOVERNMENT is needed , not regulation on the people. Big difference.

I didnt say anything about the "greater" good. I said the public good as held in public trust for the people. If we as hunters, trappers, etc. dont support the best wildlife conservation system on Earth to ensure we maintain sustainable populations of wildlife then who will? This has nothing to do with socialism.

I could care less about your cows. Swamp Wolf , I doubt many would chastise you for enforcing game laws. It's a good thing , game laws preserves game which we all want , more game. I think most are concerned about overreach , not seeking out and capturing poachers. BIG difference , imo.
