I'm looking to set up a room for fur tanning. How do you guys tan your furs? Is there any special equipment I should get?

You can't go wrong with being outdoors.

My dad helped me tan a skunk. We just fleshed it really good and salted it for a few days. Then put it in a bucket of safty acid for a couple days then washed it good. Then used a paint brush to put on the tanning solution, when that soaked in we put a little oil on to keep it soft.

Get a few clean 5 gallon buckets with lids. Buy a big bag of noniodized salt and then a Rittells EZ TAN kit. Thats how my dad and zi do it.
